Educational Outreach and Scholarship

The IFFPAN Educational Outreach and Scholarship Program is an ongoing initiative dedicated to providing quality education for vulnerable students and students with disability, ensuring they have the support needed to thrive academically and build successful futures.

Currently, our program supports young scholars with disability whose stories exemplify the power of education and opportunity. These scholars have gone ahead to excel academically, and we continue to support them as they prepare for higher education studies.

Through our partnership local schools, we are breaking financial barriers and ensuring that vulnerable children receive the education they deserve.

Strengthening Our Commitment

  • School Visits & Mentorship – Regular engagement with students and teachers to track progress and provide encouragement.
  • Financial & Educational Support – Covering tuition, learning materials, and essential academic resources.
  • Expanding Access – Growing partnerships with schools to support more students in need.

Tackling Out-of-School Children Initiative – Bridging the Education Gap for a Brighter Future

With over 13 million out-of-school children in Nigeria (UNESCO, 2020), the education crisis threatens the future of countless children, particularly in northern regions where poverty, insecurity, and cultural barriers keep many from accessing school.

Our organisation is committed to breaking this cycle through an education access initiative in Jos North and Jos South Local Government Areas (LGAs), Plateau State. Through community-driven solutions, this program will enrol and support out-of-school children annually, ensuring they receive the resources needed to thrive.

Our Approach

  • Access to Quality Education – Providing school enrolment support, uniforms, and learning materials for 1000 children.
  • Psychosocial Support & Social Integration – Leveraging school clubs and interactive learning activities to enhance resilience and peaceful coexistence.
  • Parental & Community Engagement – Hosting workshops and advocacy programs to encourage parental involvement in their children’s education.
  • Sustained Learning & Growth – Establishing a monitoring system to track progress, ensuring long-term academic success.

The Impact We Aim to Achieve

  • 1000 children enrolled and retained in school annually
  • Improved academic performance and school completion rates
  • Stronger community ties through peaceful coexistence initiatives
  • Empowered parents and teachers in fostering a learning-friendly environment
